Horses

Receive guidance via email or phone (up to 30 minutes) on how to better set-up successful training sessions and deepen your understanding of equine behavior. Feedback may be sent out in the form of educational articles, personal and/or professional experience, or assistance in creating a shaping plan.

Record a training session of up to 10 minutes (raw footage preferred, but edited is okay too!), upload to Youtube, Dropbox or Google Drive, then share it via email (Bonafide.bt@gmail.com). It's that simple! I'll review it, send it back with a voice-over and notes with time-stamps on what I'm seeing and what I'd recommend next for you and your horse.

Interested in learning more about clicker training? Take lessons with horses at my farm to experience the joys of R+. Lessons run for about an hour. This lesson program allows for creativity of students and provides a learning opportunity for those who don't have horses, don't feel confident in their R+ skillset, or are unable to utilize R+ for their horses.

Riding is a possibility, but not a guarantee.

Together we can formulate a plan to work towards your goals. Working in person allows for immediate feedback and guidance to set you and your horse up for success. Consults are an hour long to allow for time to plan prior to bringing the horse out and to discuss the next steps after they are put back into their stall or pasture.

Horses in Bonafide's training program are required to have an initial consult discussing training needs and problem behaviors to make sure we are the right fit for you. 

After the settling in period, you will be sent training videos and notes weekly and guardians are encouraged to submerge themselves into the process, asking questions, visiting the farm to practice and have access to discounted lessons with your horse or my own! Horses will receive training 4-6x a week depending on the individual horse's needs and abilities.

Base cost is $800 which includes all services and feeds within regular boarding.

Available to current clients or after a meet & greet, Bonafide Behavior & Training offers an R+ based farm catered to you and your horse's specific needs.

Meet weekly with a trainer to discover the power of R+ training while receiving guidance to navigate puppyhood. This 4-session training program covers all the basics to start your pup off on the right paw:

Meet weekly with a trainer to discover the power of R+ training while receiving guidance to perfect your dog's manners. This 6-session private training program covers all the basics to create a delightful dog:

No age minimum or requirements, recommended for dogs 7 months or older. Base cost is $420, additional charges applied to services taking place in locations >15 miles of Manawa, WI.

An initial consult is required which allows us to sit down and discuss the behaviors your dog is performing, their current lifestyle, previous training, and work toward finding the root cause of the behaviors. Together we formulate a program best suited to your and your canine partner to help everyone communicate and work together harmoniously. Initial consults are an hour long to give us time to cover your needs and get a start on our training. You will receive an email overview of topics discussed.
